General
FUZE is a safe, sustainable, non-ionic application that permanently adheres to textiles and surfaces to eliminate and prevent the spreading of odor causing and infectious disease carrying bacteria.
FUZE’s patented laser ablation manufacturing process creates precisely sized and shaped particles that are neutronic and quality controlled. FUZE Mechanically disassembles organisms upon contact and renders them incapable of multiplying.
Yes, FUZE does not use any surfactants or chemicals as binders. FUZE precisely targets only the odor-causing bacteria and fungus that comes in contact with the treated surface. There are no harmful effects to humans or the environment.
Fuze is produced by FUZE Technologies which is an antimicrobial solutions company based in the USA serving the textile, hospitality, and fitness industries.
Their EPA-approved antimicrobial technology is free of chemicals, toxicity, and environmental waste. This means it is an antimicrobial treatment for textiles and surfaces that is safe and sustainable.
Fuze is a subsidiary of EVŌQ Nano, a nanoscience company that creates uniform, stable, sub-10 nm nanoparticles for a wide range of applications.

Fuze is produced using EVŌQ Nano’s multi-patented, high-volume laser nanofabrication process (LASiS) which requires only laser energy, ultrapure water, and pure silver metal.
Ablation via a multiple, cross-laser system occurs at temperatures and pressures akin to diamond formation. The single-step, high-volume laser process generates stable, pure metal nanoparticles directly into pharmaceutical-grade water.
* Laser ablation synthesis in solution (LASiS) is considered a "green" method due to its lack of use for toxic chemical precursors to synthesize nanoparticles. In the LASiS method, nanoparticles are produced by a laser beam hitting a solid target in a liquid and during the condensation of the plasma plume, the nanoparticles are formed.

Textiles
1) Padding
Fuze can be applied to textiles during a normal padding process. As Fuze is 99.9% pure water, it can be used as the diluting agent for other treatments such as Durable Water Repellents (DWR) and Fire retardants (FR) if necessary.
FUZE will not alter the color or hand/touch feel of your fabrics.
2) Spraying machine
Spraying machines can be added to your fabric production line at the stenter. This increases productivity by reducing the amount of Fuze required for application. Fuze Japan can help design custom-built spraying machines for products such as down feathers, footwear, and tubular knit fabrics, etc.
You should still wash dirty articles treated with FUZE. FUZE will not prevent the build up of dirt and debris but it will protect them from odor causing bacteria.
No, FUZE will not change any characteristics of the material.
Yes. However the order in which FUZE is applied along with these other additives is important.
For textiles, ASTM2149-13a is the recommended test for non-ionic antimicrobial treatments that require contact to be effective.
